Lila

Our Lila. She is the sweetest, silliest + most precious little thing. She is a collector, an eater, a lover of pretty things, a dress twirler and pretty much the most girly of girls.

She loves collecting rocks...

She's the best helper...

...and she's a dirt eater! Yes. You heard it right. This pretty thing can't keep the dirt out of her mouth. What a turd!

Oh yeah, Lila + Lincoln are pretty much inseparable. Totally twins!

My!

My, our boy is getting big! (And independent.) He just wants to do everything for himself. Mama + dada show me, and then my turn. And the look of accomplishment and pride he has when he's finished is priceless. I love this dude so much.

Yesterday

Here are some highlights of yesterday--

-Driving around looking for a new park to play at. Play at the new, fun park for about hour.

-Come home for eating + napping.

-Sunshine + blow-up pool in the backyard.

-Popsicles

-Wagon rides

-Backyard playtime until dinner

-Backyard playtime after dinner

-Bath filled with brown water

I love summer. I wish it was much, much longer in the NW. MUCH, MUCH LONGER. I love God, Brian, my kids + family, my dog and sunshine. (In that order.)

Photo Booth x2

I love Photo Booth on my 'pute. It's pretty much the only way I get to actually be in a pic with my growing children. And they l.o.v.e watching themselves on the screen. LOVE. (Although most of time they are looking for their cuzzy Coco on the computer screen.) I seriously can't believe how much these 2 are growing and changing. A-maz-ing.

Goodbye Old House

Goodbye old house. We sure filled you up with lots of love. Some of my very best memories will always be kept inside of you.

Sunshine!

I won't lie, I almost didn't recognize it when I saw it. Sunshine? Could that possibly be sun shining here in the NW??? It's only the end of June? I was certain it had forgotten us, and that it would never return. But it did. IT DID FOLKS! We have had a couple of nice days in a row. (That is a big freaking deal around here.) What a great time to take advantage of the new backyard.

Please come back many more times Mr. Sunshine. We heart you!

So You Think YOU Can Dance???

Check it. A glimpse into the nightly Swisher-family dance party.

Oh, and by the way--I hope you were able to ignore the gigantic load each one was rockin' in their diaper. Poopy diapers are AWESOMMMME!

Ole´

This is a week of 'lasts' for the Swishers. Tonight was our last meal at our favorite little Mexican restaurant in town. We've eaten here many, many times. I ate tons of Mexican food while I was pregs trying to do my part to ensure that we would have 2 additions to our Mexican-food-loving-family. I'm happy to report that is has worked so far.

Our Tree

It may only be our house for 6 more days, but this will always be our tree.

Sticky Situation

RAIN

Rain. Rain. Rain. This has been a gross couple of months, at least, for us here in the NW. I am seriously considering moving to Hawaii or California ASAP. Rain = lame when you have little ones. Especially little ones in a house filled with boxes. July + August better be good to us in the weather department because I'm not sure how much more of this these Swishers will take. Today the twins went for a walk in the rain. They got all wet and had a blast, especially sweet Lila.

Dang!

Dang, they are getting BIG!
Brian told me yesterday that they take up half my bodies length when I'm carrying them. Our current bets are Lincoln passing me up in height in 5th grade, and Lila following closely behind in 6th. And that makes me perfectly happy.

Packing

10 days folks! We are 10 days away from moving. Thank God for the two best helpers ever...

Ok maybe not the best packing-helpers, but adorable right?!?!

10,002

Reason #10,002 why dads rule...

There is no way in the world that this little lady could provide these experiences for these 2. Love you B!

Hair Did

Our boy had his hair did by his daddy this weekend. Oh, he has had an occasional snip of an unruly strand here or there, but this was definitely his first big haircut. And it was a success! (Thanks to a popsicle + his Grammie.)
